The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has proclaimed the 2017-2018 influenza season as "the worst influenza outbreak in the last 13 years." Halfway through this flu season, all 48 contiguous states are reporting elevated levels of influenza transmission, with the typical worst flu month - February.

As this flu season continues, it's an appropriate time for us to review how we can help combat the spread of influenza. A lot of resources are wasted every year with improper disinfection methods that have no effect in stopping the spread of the flu.
